A view thru four palm trees to the sandy beach the blue sky, Santa Monica Bay and the Manhattan Beach Pier.
'MB Pier and Palms'.
Taking a page from the painter Monet, this view of the Manhattan Beach Pier and palm trees has been a simple subject of mine since the 1970s'.
The composition of the scene changes as the years go by and the trees grow taller providing an 'ever-renewing' scene.
Today the palm trees have outgrown this composition from the early 2000s'.
