'1st Day of Summer'
On this nice sunny day I went down to the beach to see if there were any images around. As I drove along checking things out, the First Street (Neptune) Lifeguard tower in Manhattan Beach, CA caught my eye.
I stopped, watched for several minutes to confirm I saw what I thought I saw and decided to 'go for it'! I got out my 8ft ladder and took it down onto the beach just South of the tower, then I set up my Fuji 617 Panorama camera, composed my image, loaded a roll of film (4 shots on 120 roll) and waited for things to come together. The two kids came into the scene, the flag waived and I clicked the shutter!
